Our innovative Consumer Behavior analytical application gathers spatio-temporal coordinates from RF devices installed on shopping carts in the grocery store. The engine uses gathered data (i.e. both space & time coordinates) of different consumer clusters and tries to discover / mine common patterns.
Loyalty card information will be mapped to corresponding trajectories in order to discover "common" behavioral patterns for different consumer clusters. By mapping the results of the Trajectory Pattern Mining for each consumer cluster to its functional / performance characteristics, and by taking into consideration the strategical objectives of the retailer, the engine will aim to enhance "store-specific" space planning process in order to:- Optimize the consumer trajectory: in other words, guide this type of consumer to where we want him to go in order to maximize both his purchase volume and satisfaction (i.e increase loyalty)
- Optimize Promotions / Price / Product display
- Discover the performance of the different product categories (management of a category reflects the performance of both retailer & supplier)
- Understand hidden semantics of consumer analytics
